Schedule of General Meetings.

Following is a schedule of upcoming general meetings of the FR Valley Chamber.  We depend on your input to make our Chamber a success!!!

Mark your calendars and be sure to attend.

Meetings are at Chatty Kathy’s at noon on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.

Tentative Mixer and Town Hall Meeting

Scheduled for late October.  No date as yet. 

This should be a fun occasion. An opportunity to mix with and meet fellow Chamber members and hear an informative and topical presentation that will be of interest to all.

Guest Speaker:

Shellisa Moore, Community Development Coordinator for the Shasta  County Dept. of Public Health in Burney, has asked to address the Chamber at our next regular meeting

Welcome Sign:

Frank Germano expects to have a revised design for our “Welcome to…” sign for Chamber approval.   We need the name, address, and phone  number of anyone you believe can build this sign.  Please bring this information in writing to our next meeting. 

If you approve Frank’s design Cal Trans will be contacted for its approval and exact location along Hwy 299E.

Party of the Century:

The officers and directors of this Chamber are well into the selection of local talent as entertainment during the Chamber/Lions co-sponsored “Party of the Century”, a street fair. 

Scheduled date for this event is July 14 (Bastille Day) between 5pm and 10pm on Main Street in Fall River Mills.  Come to our meeting and hear more about it.

Area Maps are Available                     

The Chamber has Intermountain Area maps available for sale at our cost.  Businesses should have these available in their places of business for tourists and others who need direction to sites in our area.  Remember, you can sell them at whatever price you wish.                      

Sheriff Candidates May Speak to the Chamber

Both candidates for the non-partisan office of Shasta County Sheriff have been invited to address the Chamber.  No commitments as of the date of this writing.
