Schedule of General Meetings.

Following is a schedule of upcoming general meetings of the FR Valley Chamber.  We depend on your input to make our Chamber a success!!!

Mark your calendars and be sure to attend.

Meetings are at Chatty Kathy’s at noon.

 November Meeting

Our last regular meeting of the year will be Tuesday, November 15 at noon in Chatty Kathy’s restaurant inMcArthur.     Please attend if you can.

The Chamber was represented by your President at the groundbreaking ceremony for our airport expansion.

This $6.3 million project is good for our communities.  Some will read this as benefiting only the wealthy members of our area but they would be wrong.  As our visitor and resident base expands it will mean more business opportunities.

We have been trying to get a representative from Pacific Gas and Electric to speak to our group.  There might be a feeling on their part that we are preparing an ambush.  That is not the case.  PG & E is an important member of our community and our relationship with them should always be cordial.  Should we be successful in arranging a meeting it would likely be separate from our regular meeting .  You will be apprized through a future newsletter.

Our best wishes to you and your families for Thanksgiving.  You may be justly proud of your effort to keep the Chamber alive and for which we should all be thankful.
